Ms. Bonomi decided to schedule “Black Orpheus,” which won the 1959 Oscar for best foreign language film, after hearing Jofre Romarion’s dramatic rendering of Jobim on the bandoneon, a type of concertina, at a concert in January by the Westchester Jazz Orchestra.
